Lillian (Lever) Maisonneuve was born on March 18th, 1922 in London, England. She married Paul Emile Maisonneuve on April 16th, 1943 in London, while he was overseas. She and Paul Emile settled in Guy. Lillian became secretary of the McLennan Depot of the RCMP. During the years of 1959 to 1972, she was a lifeguard at Winnagame Lake and ran the water safety program; students came from as far as Fairview, Peace River, Spirit River and Enilda for lessons. In 1974 Paul Emile and Lillian moved to McLennan. Lillian passed away on June 7th, 1990 at 68 years old, she is buried in the Sacred Heart Donnelly Cemetery.
