Jorgen Lunde was born July 12, 1914 and moved with his family to a homestead in the LaGlace, Ab. area in 1927. They all worked through the hungry thirties with horses and grub hoes trying to make a farm out of one hundred-sixty acres of solid bush and timber. When father Ole’s health no longer allowed him to do heavy farm labour, Jorgen took over the family farm. Jorgen farmed until 1977 when he sold out and moved to LaGlace.
In 1988 he moved to Wild Rose Manor in Grande Prairie. Jorgen died October 1, 1995 at the age of 81.
Jorgen is interred at the Norden Cemetery in LaGlace, Ab.
