Show and Tell at the Tribune

It was common in the early days for people to bring unusual items and large vegetables and fruits to the newspaper office. The July 7 and 21 papers of 1914 reported “If you want to see a hen’s egg that is a whopper call at the office”, and “The Best We Ever Saw” describes a large rhubarb stalk. In November, the Beaverlodge News mentioned a 30 pound turnip.
