Redecorating – This Week in History

The Campbell’s of Edmonton established a furniture store in Grande Prairie in March of 1937, and by October were making improvements to their store with the addition of a 3 foot neon clock. Mr. Campbell had stated in earlier articles that his business plan was to do lots of newspaper and radio advertising, and keep an up to date stock on hand. I tried to find out how long the store was in Grande Prairie, but only found one reference to a flower shop moving in to the old Campbell’s building in 1959.
