This item about the newspaper editor and his family taking a holiday struck me as funny, because the idea of spending a week vacationing in Pouce Coupe just seemed so strange. It must be remembered though, that in 1914 it would not have been possible to go very far with only a week off work, and I think in those days Pouce Coupe was much more of a going concern than it is now.
