Peter filed on his homestead in the Lymburn district in July 1927.
On November 13, 1934 he married Marie Wiebe. They had two children before Peter enlisted in the Armed Forces on April 24, 1941. He left the very next day and his family joined him later on in Edmonton and then Calgary. After he went overseas the family live in various places until he was discharged in 1945.
Peter and Marie along with their family moved back to the homestead in Lymburn in the spring of 1947 where they remained until 1967 when they moved to Edmonton.
