Redwood, Allan

Force:  Navy

Allan was born on May 19, 1928 at Sexsmith, Alberta and was raised at Clairmont, Alberta. Allan served in the Navy for five years from 1951- 1956. During the Korean Conflict, he served as a Leading Seaman and became a Naval Mechanic at HMCS Naden at Esquimalt BC and on HMCS Athabascan. When the Korean Conflict ended, Allan was employed by the Department of National Defence at the Canadian Forces Base at Penhold, Alberta. He retired after 30 years of service and lived for some time in Red Deer Alberta.
