William Pacaud, wife Vivian and son Garth (from Winnipeg) settled in Guy in 1946.
They met other veterans purely by chance, a few had served in the same units but most had met for the first time as they were passing through discharge centers. This group of veterans banded together and formed Little Smoky Farm Industries.
