Eric Anderson Paaske was born in Oslo, Norway in 1900. He arrived in Eaglesham-Watino area in the early 1930’s and filed on a homestead which was located south and east of Eaglesham.
When World War II broke out, Eric enlisted and served overseas from 1943 to 1945. He served in England, Italy and Continental Europe.
Eric returned after the war and farmed his homestead until his accidental death in 1953.
