Olaf Gudmund Lunde was born January 26, 1920 and moved with his family to a homestead in the LaGlace, Ab. area in 1927.
Olaf served in World War II, returning to La Glace in 1946 and buying a quarter next to his parents. Olaf married Gina Saastad on January 2, 1959 and they had three children, Kathy, Judy, and Ole. Olaf farmed until 1967 when he sold his land to his brother Arne and moved to the Hythe area. Olaf later moved to British Columbia and died in Dawson Creek in January 1981 at the age of 61.
Olaf is interred at the Norden Cemetery in LaGlace, Ab.
