Lock, Lawrence

Lawrence Lock was born in Brocton, New York in 1901 and came to Canada in 1913. In 1919 filed on homestead in the Two Rivers district. Lawrence served for many years on the school, telephone, rural electrification and Peace River Seed Growers boards. He enlisted in World War II as a mechanic and was later transferred to Military Police. After he retired from farming, he spent several years on the forestry towers. Lawrence passed away in the Hythe hospital on January 21st, 1995 at 93 years of age.
