Little, Katherine “Kay”

Katherine (Kay) Isobella Little was born in Trochu, Ab. in 1921. In the Spring of 1927 her father, Bert Little sold his interest in the grain business to his brother and moved to Wembley, at that time the end of the steel. In the Fall of 1928 the family moved by sleighs and steam engine to Beaverlodge, Ab.

Kay completed her nursing R.N. at Calgary General Hospital, and later her public health diploma in nursing.

Kay served in the Second World War as an Army Nursing sister.
