Little, Donald Cameron

Donald Cameron Little was born in Saskatoon, Sk. on July 4, 1918. In the Spring of 1927 his father, Bert Little sold his interest in the grain business to his brother and moved to Wembley, at that time the end of the steel. In the Fall of 1928 the family moved by sleighs and steam engine to Beaverlodge, Ab.

Don completed his Mechanical engineering degree at the University of Saskatoon before enlisting with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Sadly, on April 3 1974, Donald was killed in a freak accident when a tornado tore through Windsor, Ontario and demolished the curling rink where he was curling. Don was the founding president of that curling club and always an active member.
