Vera Last Larter was born in England on July 23, 1924 and grew up in Kyle, Saskatchewan. She joined the R.C.A.F right out of high school, serving in Calgary as a Transport Driver from 1942-1945. After her service, she became a hair dresser.
Vera married Bert Farrell on March 16, 1946 in Carstairs, Ab.
The Farrells homesteaded on the Lassiter Project, in Codesa/Eaglesham area, working on their farm until they retired to the Abbotsford area in 1975.
Vera passed away on March 18, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Stony Plain Care Centre.
