Hjalmer John “Al” Krog was born in 1926 in Western Manitoba. He served as a Private (H-69633) in the Queen’s Own Regiment of the Canadian Army. He married Kathleen “Kaye” on October 17th, 1953. He passed away in Grande Prairie in September 2000 at the age of 74, he is buried in the City of Grande Prairie Cemetery.
