Don Gordon Jordan was born at Hazelmere on August 13th, 1924. He took his schooling at the log school of Beaverbrook and completed it at the age of 16. He joined the Veteran’s Guard in the early spring of 1940, he returned to the family farm in Hazelmere in 1945 when the war ended. He passed away in Peace River at the age of 92 on September 1st, 2016. He is buried alongside is wife Doris at Halcourt Cemetery.
