There is mention of he and brother Robert being born in Sexsmith to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johnstone and that both brothers joined the army in 1939. In his father’s obituary, it mentions Ross living in Vancouver in 1948 at the time of his father’s death. Ross Donald was born October 21st, 1917 in Grande Prairie and passed away on December 5th, 1988 at 71 years old in Nanaimo, BC. He is buried in Yates Cemetery, Parksville, Nanaimo, BC. He was married to Marion Lois who passed away on December 2nd, 1991 in Nanaimo, BC.
