William “Willie” Johnson was born on September 24th, 1924. He attended school in La Glace and Baldur. When the war started, he enlisted in the Army. Following his discharge of service, he returned to La Glace and bought the family farm. In 1950, he married Ruby Foss and they had three children. Willie continued to farm until his death in 1971. He is buried in the Valhalla Centre cemetery.
