Jeffs, Ronald

Ronald (Ron) Jeffs was born in Vancouver, B.C., on April 3rd, 1923. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1942, and remained with the Airforce until the end of the war. He homesteaded on the Lassiter Project at Wanham in 1949 (79-24-W5). He moved to Tangent in 1951 and married Hennie Langlois in 1968. In 1977 he retired from farming and moved to Donnelly Corner. He worked for Sun Oil in Fort McMurray until his retirement in 1986. His wife passed away in 1987. He continued to spend his summers in the Peace Country while he wintered in the south. He died on April 13th, 1995 in Grande Prairie at the age of 72.
