Corporal John Harold Jackson (C.R.T. Canadian Expeditionary Force) born in 1882, died in Grande Prairie on Jan 2, 1958 at 76 years old, his service was held at the Sexsmith Anglican Church. Buried in the City of Grande Prairie Cemetery. He was born in London, England and lived in various communities including Edmonton, Jasper, Mayerthorpe and Sexsmith. He was active in the Sexsmith Canadian Legion, Sexsmith Masonic Lodge and a civilian member of Air Cadets.
