Gordon G. Goodrich was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on July 18, 1922 to parents Martin I. and Dora Emma (Nee: Jesse) Goodrich. Older brothers were Albert T. (1916-1932), Mervin J. (1918-1969), and Ervin M. (1919-1999). Gordon married Verona Ellen Spiers, and the couple had two children: Sherry and Darryl. In 1962 Gordon acquired land (north of Bonanza (?) AB) from the VH Lease: N 1/2-33-81-12-W6. At the age of 48, he died on December 4, 1970, in Pouce Coupe BC. Verona, born in 1927, lived until 2005, at that time residing in Breton AB. Both Gordon and Verona are buried in the Dawson Creek Cemetery, Plot 96 Section G.
