Gibb, Sam

Previous Military Service:  U.S. Marines

Born in Ireland, Sam came to Canada, settling in Winnipeg, with his parents in 1912. Having several jobs, Sam also served in the U.S. Marines in the 1930’2.  In 1940, Sam joined the Canadian Air Force, and after his discharge he worked in Banff AB with the Brewsters company.  With the Lassiter Project, he was able to purchase land in the Codesa area, around 1950.  Sam farmed his land until he died in 1966.
