Nelson Ghostkeeper was born at home in High Prairie to parents Philip Ghostkeeper and Alvina ( nee Andrews) Gladue (first marriage) Ghostkeeper. Alvina had a son, Louie Gladue. Philip and Alvina had 5 children: Nelson, Philip Jr., Rosie, Nora, and Minnie.
