Beverly Gerow was one of 4 siblings, whose father was Robert John Gerow who served in WW I. Their mother, Jane Ann and Robert J. married in England in 1919, then came to Canada, settling in the Buffalo Lakes area the same year. Their three oldest children, Robert P., Lila, and A. Beverly, served in the armed forces in WW II. The youngest was G. Allen. After the war, Beverly was a farmer and bought the NE 6-74-6 quarter of land, yet he lived with his mother on his parents’ homestead, which his brother Allen farmed. Their father, Robert J. died in 1970, and their mother, Jane, passed away in 1978. Beverly and Allen, both bachelors, continued to live on the homestead. (Allen married later in life.) Beverly was involved with the Legion. He died in June 1987 in Grande Prairie AB, at age 63.
