Ewen Fisher came from Rosetown SK to the Debolt district in 1932 to homestead and built a log cabin. His land was SE 22-70-26-W5. During WW II he joined the Army and served until 1944. When he returned, he married Helen Woods, and they lived first in Cornwall and Clarkson Valley before they moved to Valleyview. Later they moved to Edmonton, where Ewen died. Helen and Ewen had four children.
