Henry was born in Edmonton, Alberta on December 26, 1890. He was drafted into the Canadian Army in March of 1918. In November, just before the end of the war, Henry was gassed. He arrived back in Canada in July of 1919. On October 28, 1921, Henry married Mae Lydia Allison. They came to the Peace Country that year, where Henry filed on homesteads at SW 27-72-11-W6 and SW 34-72-11-W6. He died in Grande Prairie on December 3, 1978.
