Geller, Charles

Charles was born in Cayna (?), Russia to Jewish parents on September 15, 1888. He was living in Michigan at the time of his enlistment in the Canadian Army in April of 1916. On June 10, 1917 at Vimy Ridge, Charles received gunshot wounds to his right hand and left leg, and was also gassed. He was invalided to Canada in January of 1918 and discharged on August 2, 1918. After being discharged, Charles came to the South Peace and filed on the eastern half of 27-77-3-W6. He died in Vancouver on September 25, 1969.
