Edward was born in Flinton, Ontario on February 11, 1894. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in February of 1915. After being discharged in 1919, he filed on NE 33-77-2-W6. Edward married Daphne Tansem in 1925. They moved to the Northwest Territories in 1938, where Edward worked in the Negus Mines. Edward died in Edmonton on July 30, 1974.
