William was born in Huxley, England on November 27, 1870. On March 7, 1897, he married Nellie King in Notting Hill, Greater London, England. William came to Canada in 1913. Following the First World War, he came to the South Peace and filed on the eastern half of 15-74-11-W6. William and his wife Nellie moved to Salmon Army in 1947. William died in Salmon Arm on April 3, 1957.
