Edward was born ca. 1898 in North Dakota. In 1921, he filed on homesteads at SW 30-73-9-W6 and NE 27-73-13-W6, indicating on his homestead record that he had served in the military. Ed eventually moved to Portland, Oregon, where he married Melissa Vladesol. He died in Portland in 1961.
