Andrew was born in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England on September 10, 1894. It is unknown when he came to Canada, but he enlisted in the Canadian Army in Victoria, BC in November of 1914. In April of 1917, Andrew suffered from gunshot wounds to his left hand. On July 6, 1917, he received shrapnel wounds to his left heel. Andrew filed on SE 26-80-8-W6 in 1920, and in 1922 filed on NW 24-80-8-W6 as well. He and his wife were still living in the area in 1939. Andrew died on January 26, 1974.
