Administrative history / Biographical sketch
The Clairmont Homecoming Committee operated between 1991 to 1992 to organize and run a homecoming event for current and former residents of Clairmont. This committee included multiple organizers, like Barbara Hofmeister, who planned the event and advertised registration both inside and outside the community through mass letter writing and articles in the Grande Prairie Herald-Tribune. The event was held from July 3 to July 5 1992 in Clairmont with an estimated 200 to 400 participants, with the committee dissolving after its conclusion.

Scope and content
This fonds collects together materials produced by the Clairmont Homecoming Committee, which organized and held an event in 1992 for current and former members of the Clairmont community. This includes registration forms and lists, planning documents and meeting minutes, ephemera, and a vinyl record of music performed by the Montrose and Grande Prairie Composite high schools to celebrate former students.
