Blueprint for the cable wiring out of the telegraph line from the Grande Prairie Repeater Station west towards Dawson Creek in 1953. Created by Canadian National Telegraph and the Northwest Communications System, Department of Transport in 1953. Blueprint is accompanied by a diagram showing the route of the telegraph from the Admin Building at the Edmonton Airport to Alaska and the Yukon. Donor was the last wire chief for the Alaska highway telegraph and teletype service. He worked for the Canadian National Telegraph, the CNCP, and Unitel.

Various slogans and titles appear on the front: “See Northern Alberta”, “The Scenic Land of the Mighty Peace”, “Land of the Midnight Twilight”, and “Gateway to the Yukon, Alaska, and the Great Northwest.”
