This Week in History – Green Eggs and Ham & Saving the Easter Bunny

We start off with an Easter poem written by local minister, then continue with a sad reminder of Easter snowstorms in April. Two items from 1930 looked interesting. The meat market decorating with colored lights seemed like an innovative idea until I pictures the meat bathed in a green glow. However, the novelty did seem to appeal to the locals. The bunnies and the bulldog story took place on my Grandfather’s farm at Crystal Lake.
