Hallowe’en ~ This Week in 1914

In the old days, masquerade balls weren’t always on Hallowe’en. In 1914 there was one in late November and there was quite an array of costumes. While clown costumes were plentiful (7), men dressing as women was popular. I do wonder what a snowflake costume would have looked like, and am curious as to what an English gypsy girl costume consisted of.
