An article May 18, 1916 decries small lots and narrow streets as poor places for children to play, and encourages providing adequate parks and playgrounds – hard to believe this was a concern that early. The writer would no doubt be impressed with the City’s 100 Parks, 100 Names Legacy Project for this Centennial year!
