From the Vault Friday: Grande Prairie and the Peace River District, 1920

Todays “From the Vault Friday” features an excerpt from a booklet published by the Grande Prairie Board of Trade in 1920. The booklet, titled Grande Prairie and the Peace River District, 1920 was written to promote settlement of the area. Highlights of the document include a list of the costs of staple goods, local businesses and amenities, such as hunting, fishing, a public market place, fire hall, and various clubs and associations.
