Once again there was very little news in the papers for this week, despite there being two issues, one Tuesday and one Friday. In the August 25 issue there was a reply to the Challenge to box for the lightweight championship of the prairie which had appeared August 18th. There was also a report of the successful Ice Cream Lawn Social, which had been advertised in the August 11th paper.
