The Edson Trail ~ This Week In 1914

Once again news was sparse for this week, but I did run across a couple of Edson Trail stories in a later paper. Since we seem to have had a lot of Edson Trail material lately I thought this would be a good place to use them. I found a short item Sept 22, 1914 where the editor of the paper was blowing his own horn a bit. I also noticed an ad “Passengers Wanted” placed by a fellow heading to Edson for supplies likely, willing to take passengers at $10. He may have had some takers, as the regular fare on the Grande Prairie to Edson Stage was $35.
