William Peter “Bill” MacMillan was born in 1915. He enlisted in August of 1940 and served as a SGT in the Edmonton Fusiliers Case (M30955); he was posted in Edmonton, Calgary, Nanaimo and Vernon. Bill was discharged on November 16th, 1943. W. P. MacMillan is listed as one of the founding members of the McLennan Legion, which was formed in April of 1945. Bill passed away on June 12th, 1960 in Peace River, he is buried in McLennan Cemetery.
