Alexander “Alex” Kabanuk, was born in the United States on January 8th, 1914 and died on March 31st, 1990. He was married to Norma (Woolsey); they married in 1940 in Fairview, AB and had two children. In Norma’s obituary it mentions that she and her husband enjoyed collecting rocks, landscaping, building a beautiful stone work fence as well as a fireplace. They also collected diamond willow and built tables, clocks, and lamps. Alex owned the Esso Garage in Hines Creek. There is mention of Alex being in the Army serving in the Mechanical Corps (information provided by Norma).
