Private Aage Jorgenson (M.55500) of the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp, 8 Field Dressing Station was killed on February 6th, 1943 in the United Kingdom, as a result of a motor accident; he was 35 years old. His wife Mabel of Sexsmith, AB was sent a letter informing her of his brave sacrifice. He and Mabel did not have any children, they married in Victoria, BC on February 2nd, 1941. The letter is dated February 10th, 1943 and signed by Major General H.F.G. Letson. The Daily Herald Tribune mentions his passing as a driver who was accidentally killed. It goes on to say that he was better known as “Johnson” and came from Denmark to Canada in 1928. He joined active service in July 19th, 1940 with the 13th Light Field Ambulance Corp. When he lived in Teepee Creek, he was a big part of the sports in the area and played in the Orchestra for several years. He worked on the farm of J.S.
