Marjorie was born in 1921. During WW II, while serving in the Army, she met her future husband, Frederick (“Fred”) in May 1945. They were married in November 1945, and lived in Edmonton before they moved to Kitchener ON. There, their daughter Eleanor was born. Moving back to Alberta in 1947, the Glor family farmed near Culp where Fred had land. In 1950 their daughter Linda, and in 1954 a son Robert, were born. Moving back to Edmonton in 1955, Fred continued to farm in Culp as well a starting a house building business. Their youngest son David was born in 1962. The farm was sold in 1965 when Fred obtained a full-time job with the Alberta Government. Marjorie and Fred enjoyed several trips to Europe, Jamaica and California. She was diagnosed with cancer and died on November 24, 1980. She was buried at the Glenwood Cemetery in Sherwood Park AB.
