Stanley Kasprow was born in Poland in 1902 and migrated to Canada in 1929 with his wife (Sophia) and one year old daughter, settling in the Lake Saskatoon area where he lived for 15 years before moving to Wembley where he lived until his death. He married his wife, Sophia in Poland and they had seven children. In 1942 the family moved to Richmond Hill where they rented half a section. Stanley did some carpenter work at the airport, in addition to his farming. When the farm was sold a year later they moved to the Dimsdale and Wembley area where they purchased a farm. They farmed there from 1943 to 1960 when Stanley passed away from a brief illness on July 6th, 1960 at the age of 57 and was interred in the Grande Prairie Cemetery.
